Desigual by L (aka none other than Christian Lacroix)

The French couturier has an ongoing collaboration with the Spanish label, but can no longer design under the name 'Christian Lacroix.' And so the line has to be called Desigual by L. Monsieur Lacroix’s first collaborative effort with Desigual hit stores for fall 2011, presented during Barcelona Fashion Week to overwhelmingly positive response. As Desigual, Lacroix is also known for his use of vibrant shades and textures.
He says of the first time he saw Desigual clothes on a girl in Paris:
"As I watched her, I could recognize in her a member of my own tribe. It was an explosion of colours and patchwork under the elegant, discreet and always monotonous French sky. It was fantastic, truly love at first sight, a breath of fresh air, all multicolored, scorching, revitalizing, radiating Mediterranean colours and flavours and creeping into this global and colourless magma inhabited by zombies and clones."
The creative team at Desigual is equally enamored:
"Monsieur Lacroix and Desigual are getting to know each other. The aim: a breath of fresh air for the brand, Lacroix-style clothes within the Desigual universe.
